If your aircraft has a FIS-B-capable ADS-B receiver or transponder, WXStar sends weather data directly to it — wirelessly, no configuration needed. Power on and within a few minutes your panel shows live radar, METARs, TAFs and all other products.

These transponders will NOT receive FIS-B:
GTX330, GTX330ES, GTX327, GTX335, GTX33R, GTX35R
These older Garmin transponders do not include a FIS-B receiver. If this is your situation, consider the EFB Apps via WiFi or RS232 Wired paths instead.

Setup

No extra hardware beyond WXStar and Starlink Mini. There is nothing to configure on the avionics side - your FIS-B receiver sees WXStar as a ground station and starts receiving automatically.

The FIS-B output runs simultaneously with the WiFi GDL90 and RS232 outputs. You do not sacrifice one path by using another.
